A Touching Proposal

Finally, the day came 14-02-09 (Valentine Day) ... a close friend of mine whose boyfriend has proposed to her after a decade of courtship!!!

Wow...sounds romantic! Really! Importantly, they both keep the romance going.

I was excessively happy for them that my tears began to fall ... Congrats!

And the juicy part was, the bf proposed to her with a carat diamond! Can't imagine. The carat looks real big though I don't get the chance to touch but I can tell from the photos on her mobile phone. The diamond reflects light with a brilliant!

Day Surgery: 18-02-2009

The pain was mild! Not as painful as labour pain! No big deal! But gotta leave a scar on my neckbone & this was the reason why I'd been procastinating till this day!

At first, it was just a mini lump then pus accumulated. After some period, the lump subsided and I thought it was gone until one fine day, it relapse once again! Friends reminded me time & time again to get it remove. Worst still, rashes are spreading from the lumps.

Today's Breakfast:

Guess what? Little Honey finished 3 mini slices while I ate half of it as I was not allowed to eat anything before the operation.

Tang Yuan

Historically, a number of different names were used to refer to the tangyuan. During the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty, the name was officially settled as yuanxiao, a name derived from the Yuanxiao festival, also known as the Lantern Festival. This name literally means "first evening", being the first full moon after Chinese New Year, which is always a new moon. - Source from Wikipedia

Tang Yuan (Mandarin) is one of my favourite dessert. It's simple yet sweetening to the heart. Mother cooks during the "first evening" & this day, I decided to make my own Tang Yuan.

Ingredients are simple:
Glutinous Rice Flour
Yellow Sugar
Pandan Leaves
Rose Powder ~ to add colouring to the balls

Farewell My Dear Diana

I'm so young and you're so old

This, my darling, I've been told

I don't care just what they say'

Cause forever I will pray

You and I will be as free

As the birds up in the trees

Oh, please stay by me, Diana
Lyrics ~ Paul Anka

Bon Voyage, Diana

200

This blog rank No. 200, a total collection of my life & journey. Ever since I started from friendster.com, since then, I have written multiple topics that evolve my life.

I'm trying not to look back nor dwell on the past but being a sentimental woman, blogging is a reminder or probably a memory of my past. If one day, I were to lost my sanity or memory, I'm still able to capture all the sweet memories.
The past 3 months, my life has gone through a temendous fall & emotionally was getting hell from a stranger who was sent to be my "boss". Thank God, I'd managed to get out from that circle and I'm sure my life is back to track again. For some reasons, I was questioning about myself, my career & etc. I stood up again with the support from my sweet hubby.

Nothing much has changed except my role. Now, serving my lovely honey & concurrently in search of jobs during the worst economy crisis. Spending quantity time yet having quality relationship with her. My parenting approach is all about learning through playing. That's why her recent skill is all about brushing, coloured-water & drawing.

With all these, I hope to involve all her activities and to guide my little honey in her own journey.
