My 1st Excursion

Mummy Fiona has planned an excursion for her honey Celestine.

Honey Celestine's 1st trip to The Singapore Science Centre.

Probably Honey Celestine was too young to learn about Science. But then, this whole trip was not about learning but more of spending time exploring things which we both didn't know.

It was an eventful day although Honey was quite afraid. She kept saying 'NO' to some weird objects.

To end the whole excursion, I've decided to explore the Eco-Garden despite walking under the scorching sun. This was the best part and Honey enjoyed herself very much especially she can said 'Hi & Bye' to all the fishes & tortoise in the pond. I've explained to her about water hyacinth and many other stuff.

I'm pretty sure she must have learnt something today. For instance, we had seen how electric currents travel and it trigger sparks of flame on the wire. To expIain upon chance, I described about the danger of touching my mobile phone when it is charging. To make things sounds a little exaggerating, I explained to her that those sparks of flames can even burn her hands.

This topic was reiterated after we got home. I think I'm right. She is afraid and wouldn't want to touch the wire anymore.

Then & Now

We were 1 month old!!!

We are celebrating our 2 Yrs-old on next Month!!!

Beer-coholic

I'm a Beer-coholic!!!

My 1st Time

In life, there are thousands and one 'first time'. Like what hubby always said, there are simply too many 1st time that we can hardly afford perhaps in monetary sense from his perspective. But still, it's always good to capture every significant moment somewhere before it is gone with the winds.

From my 1st Birthday, my 1st day of school, my 1st exams, my 1st certificate, my 1st boyfriend, my 1st job, my 1st paycheck, my 1st IT bag, my 1st IT shoe, my 1st driving license, my 1st ride, my 1st wedding dress, my 1st honeymoon, my 1st preggie look, my 1st childbirth, my daughter's 1st hug & kisses, my daughter's 1st vaccination, my daughter's 1st pair of shoes, my daughter's 1st ... & the list just go on & on ...

Ever since I got my driving license, I've never given a lift to my honey darling, Celestine. Because of a simple reason, FEAR! I guess my driving skill is not up to standard & I drive DANGEROUSLY!!! Till Monday, 02 March 09, finally decided to drive Honey around. It wasn't that bad afterall.

Prior to the ride, I was afraid that she would be restless and so I've prepared couple of items to keep her busy.

1. Her 3 mini books
2. Her magnetic sketching board
3. Her do without dolly!!!

To provide more, I bought her a giant Minnie Mouse, an alphabetical bible book & her 1st jigsaw puzzle just to keep her seated in the car while mummy was driving.

And the journey was fantastic. She was a great companion in the car. We both sang like nobody business. We talked nonsense & we made ugly faces to one another. That's the fun & it was our 1st time in the car!!!

My New Toy, FujiFilm

Week ago, mum spoilt my camera, Canon IXUS 800IS of 6.0 mega pixels just because she has forgotten to tighten Honey Celestine's water bottle that made the water to spill.

Gosh, I gotta spend extra just to get it service. I was rather pissed off but mum thought she could get me a new one. For God sake, how am I going to demand from mum?

As I was reminded from hubby that we have a new camera at home and was given free when we bought our new television set. So finally, went to explore and realise the pixels was much clearer, 8.2.

My critic:
Though the function not as many as the Canon but then I'm quite happy with the image

A Touching Proposal

Finally, the day came 14-02-09 (Valentine Day) ... a close friend of mine whose boyfriend has proposed to her after a decade of courtship!!!

Wow...sounds romantic! Really! Importantly, they both keep the romance going.

I was excessively happy for them that my tears began to fall ... Congrats!

And the juicy part was, the bf proposed to her with a carat diamond! Can't imagine. The carat looks real big though I don't get the chance to touch but I can tell from the photos on her mobile phone. The diamond reflects light with a brilliant!

Day Surgery: 18-02-2009

The pain was mild! Not as painful as labour pain! No big deal! But gotta leave a scar on my neckbone & this was the reason why I'd been procastinating till this day!

At first, it was just a mini lump then pus accumulated. After some period, the lump subsided and I thought it was gone until one fine day, it relapse once again! Friends reminded me time & time again to get it remove. Worst still, rashes are spreading from the lumps.

Stitches after the operation

Hotcakes

Today's Breakfast:

Guess what? Little Honey finished 3 mini slices while I ate half of it as I was not allowed to eat anything before the operation.

Tang Yuan

Historically, a number of different names were used to refer to the tangyuan. During the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty, the name was officially settled as yuanxiao, a name derived from the Yuanxiao festival, also known as the Lantern Festival. This name literally means "first evening", being the first full moon after Chinese New Year, which is always a new moon. - Source from Wikipedia

Tang Yuan (Mandarin) is one of my favourite dessert. It's simple yet sweetening to the heart. Mother cooks during the "first evening" & this day, I decided to make my own Tang Yuan.

Ingredients are simple:
Glutinous Rice Flour
Yellow Sugar
Pandan Leaves
Rose Powder ~ to add colouring to the balls

Glutinous Rice Flour

Tang Yuan (Ball)

Pink balls & White balls

Pandan leaves to be added in boiling water

Yellow sugar to be added

Ready for serving once the balls floats on the surface of the soup

Farewell My Dear Diana

I'm so young and you're so old

This, my darling, I've been told

I don't care just what they say'

Cause forever I will pray

You and I will be as free

As the birds up in the trees

Oh, please stay by me, Diana

Bon Voyage, Diana

200

This blog rank No. 200, a total collection of my life & journey. Ever since I started from friendster.com, since then, I have written multiple topics that evolve my life.

I'm trying not to look back nor dwell on the past but being a sentimental woman, blogging is a reminder or probably a memory of my past. If one day, I were to lost my sanity or memory, I'm still able to capture all the sweet memories.
The past 3 months, my life has gone through a temendous fall & emotionally was getting hell from a stranger who was sent to be my "boss". Thank God, I'd managed to get out from that circle and I'm sure my life is back to track again. For some reasons, I was questioning about myself, my career & etc. I stood up again with the support from my sweet hubby.

Nothing much has changed except my role. Now, serving my lovely honey & concurrently in search of jobs during the worst economy crisis. Spending quantity time yet having quality relationship with her. My parenting approach is all about learning through playing. That's why her recent skill is all about brushing, coloured-water & drawing.

With all these, I hope to involve all her activities and to guide my little honey in her own journey.

Spa & Fever

I'm sick! Yes, but I managed to go for a spa before the fever kicks in.

The sign was, a strain from the neck and I decided to go for a good massage.

A full body scrub that exfoliates the dead skin and a masage that relax the muscles. Then came the fever in the middle of the night.

Thank God, I have a sweet lovely hubby who took great care of me especially when I was down with a high fever. He woke up in the middle of the night to serve me water just to make sure I was not dehydrated and also to keep the temperature down.

The only question from Hubby was:

Does anyone go for spa when they are having fever?

Deal Won!

Deal Won!

Yes, this time only US$3,000. Though amount is not huge but I guess it's not the amount that counts but it's how I learn through this sales experience.

The client is located in Australia and I've never seen her before. The only mode of communication is through the net and phone. Yes, I made it.

Proud to say, my MD was unable to get hold of this client and I made it!

I'd proven!

That's something I need to praise myself. But still, I shouldn't be arrogant and will continue to work on my clients.

My Dress for The Wedding Day!

Not forgetting my dress on The Couple's Wedding.

I looked more natural on this picture when I knew hubby was the photographer!

Worst, I force hubby to present me a rose! Apparently, he was unwilling! Look at this face!
