eucalyptus - natural healing from the east

Spent almost half of the day at the spa while Hubby and mum had agreed to babysit my lovely honey.

The spa package consists of a Body Scrub, Body Wrap, Facial Therapy and last but not least, a basic pedicure to end the session.

Ginger Tangerine Scrub was my choice as I was sure it worked wonders to my body. Ginger contains rich anti-oxidants to eliminate free radicals and body toxins while Tangerine aids lumphatic drainage and reduces water retention. This zany body exfoliant is particulary cleansing for congested skin. Especially highly recommended for post-natal mum. This scrub definitely works on me and honestly, I'm obsessed with body scrub. You will feel an immediate effect by scrubing the dead skins and replenishes new skin cells. Skin will be more moisturise and tender to feel.

Further enhancement to the body was a wrap. Parafango Body Wrap combines the finest mud harvested from the deep ocean beds with pure alkane paraffin wax for a luxurious softening treatment. Warm paraffin are lavishly applied on the skin, sealing in the organic nutrients of the Pasmagl serum and Fango, which stimulate lymphatic flow and draw out toxins that reside around fat cells, leaving the body remineralised and contoured, with visible inch loss. Did I lose an inch? Of course "YES". Only if you continue the session consistently. Be realistic. Do you think by doing a session tells the difference? Though such pampering is fantastic but it can't be a regular basis. It's not cheap for a session. Such wrap cost around $160 for 70mins. Trust me, this warm session was real relaxing especially people like me who don't fancy massage. You will expect perspiration during this session and probably this make us lose an inch I supposed.

Next, we proceed to the facial room for a Skin Renewal. Specially created for spa beginners, this deep-cleansing and exfoliating facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, massage, a botanical mask, tone and moisturise. Before that, I had some sharings with the therapist, Fiona. Coincidence, my therapist's name is Fiona too. "Fiona treating Fiona". Shared with her about my skin problems to facilitate her process. Whether to add certain ingredients to the lotion or not. This is to ascertain my facial therapy is a pleasant and not the 'force out' session like squeezing of pimples and blackheads. Hmm ... I don't quite enjoy this session though it came with a package. The session took an hour to complete.

Final! The whole session was wrapped out with a basic pedicure. The last time I had a pedicure was during my wedding photo-shot in Year 05, December. Thereafter, found myself to be pregnant and did not want to do any pedicure. Back then, was skeptical about the solutions from the nail polish. Unsure what damages could do to my foetus. Now, back to my norms and I think it's time for me to renew.

Here I am!
