Spring Roll

Frankly speaking, Spring Roll is never considered healthy finger food even though the ingredients are greeny enough to be ...

Still, I went on to prepare this simple finger food for all the church mates.

Ingredients:
1. Meat x 500g
2. Garlic - If you love the smell of deep fried garlic
3. Carrot x 1 pc - Shredded
4. Buddha Fruit x 2 pcs - Shredded
5. Sesame Oil in moderation
6. Sunflower Oil - For those who wants to consume more Polyunsaturated Fats
7. Soya Sauce in moderation
8. Oyster Sauce in moderation
9. Spring Roll Wrap (Plain)

Preparation:
1st - Stir fried the garlic and add minced meat to cook. Thereafter, add sunflower oil to cook Buddha Fruit and carrot, add soya oil & oyster sauce for a sense of taste. Add sesame oil to give the vegetables a strong aroma. Last but not least, add the meat to give a whole feel of texture.

Final step, wrap the ingredients with spring roll wrap and deep fried.

Ready to serve.

Tell me, is spring roll considered to be a healthy especially when it's deep fried? Don't forget ... Transfatty acid!!! Anyway, let's have fun :)

Dreamy's Holiday Recommendation

I'd just added a new category to my Dreamy Blog with the header -
Holiday Recommendation

There is this blog which I want to share with my friends ~

This was one of Yachts I worked with besides The World Magnificent Ocean Liner in The World ~ CUNARD Queen Elizabeth & Queen Mary II. I soon find myself head over heels in love with cruising.

My only travel experienced with Seabourn was via Singapore to Malacca though it was a short journey but the impeccable service I received from the crew was beyond description. For once, I lived like a princess, sipping Moet & Chandon on the deck while allowing the sea breeze splashing on my face.

Read on ... & you may find yourself travelling with Cunard or Seabourn. If possible, travel on a luxury cruise or yachts and you will experience what I've gained.

I had customers who asked me the difference between travelling on a cruise and boarding on a flight to another destination.

Both are equally unique and travel experiences are totally different.

Cruising will bring you to different ports of call where the plane is unreachable. Wake up early in the morning greeted by the sunrise, and ending your day with stars from the dark. For a moment, you sail away from the hustling and bustling city. The passengers on board of your cruise are amazing and once awhile, you may be dining with the Captain.

As for now, let me sign off and I hope you have a pleasant journey with Dreamy's Holiday Recommendation.

Public Auction

My 1st visit to a PA was at Goodwood Park Hotel on a Sunday morning, 31 Jan 2010.

The viewing starts from 9:30am and auction will begin at 12:30pm on the same day. A total of 250 lot meaning 250 items were released for bidding.

New and pre-owned watches including Rolex Rose Daytona, GMT, Oyster, Patel Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Franck Muller, JLC, Roger Dubis, Zenith, Bell & Ross, Blancpain, Piaget, AP, Corum, IWC, Chopard, Breitling, Panerai, Chanel J12, Omega, Hermes, Bvlgari, Tag Heuer, Longines, Baume & Mercier, LV, Pocket Watches & etc ...

A Fine collection of Jewelleries set with Diamonds, Jade, Ruby, Blue Sapphire, Aquamarine, Opal, Emerald, Pearl, Cat's Eye, Corals & etc ... and also unset white and fancy colour diamonds above one carat, flawless to VVS clarity).

Other Collectibles, Antique Clocks, Horn, Jade, Ivory, Gemstone, Sandal Wood, Bronze carvings, Porcelain etc.

Sad to say, 1 out of 250 lot enticed me. It was a 18k Bvlgari Yellow Gold, B zero1 ring, weight as reported was 12.72gm with original box. The bid started at $800 with my pledge at $900 and closing bid was $1,100 when the fall of the hammer hits the table.

The event was an eye-opener and buyers especially the women went all the way for fine jewelleries. The men of course, had their eye laid on fine watches, including my Hubby who was fascinated on a few pieces. Our bidding ended around 3:30pm leaving 130 lot which was still going on for bidding.

Pizza & Hot Chocolate

Our afternoon tea includes a cuppa of Hot Chocolate as usual and a pizza to spice up a peaceful afternoon.

4th Time

This was Honey Celestine 4th time visit to a TCM at Upper Thomson since months of coughing. I can't help but to seek a Chinese doctor.

Since the help of pediatrician can't totally stop the cough so an alternative would be good for her. At least for now, her cough is under controlled. According to the Chinese physician, Traditional Chinese medicine is able to rid of the phlegm in her lung. However, Western medication on the other hand only suppress the cough but not totally treating the roots of the problems. That was the reason why Honey Celestine's cough has been relapsing from her apparent recovery.

We are supposed to go back to the TCM for review almost every week since a bottle of medication can only last for a week. Though TCM is deem to be slow but steady and I'm very sure she will recover in due time. After recovery, Honey Celestine is instructed to visit the Chinese physician to rejuvenate her health once again.

Honey was always co-operative. The moment we sat down in the room, she automatically rested her wrist on a little pillow which allows her physician to read her pulse.

This was a picture taken before her consultation.

Have a speedy recovering, Honey!
