Nothing Is Impossible ~ Tagline of Adidas

It was one of the motivational tagline which was used by Adidas during the Annual Standard Chartered Marathon Year 2007, Dec 03 (Sunday).
How do I know? Did I participate in the run? Who did I support?

OK, let's not beat about the bush. Yes, indeed I was there but not the run. Both myself and the little princess who is in my tummy were there to give our moral support to daddy Deon & buddies.

They had participated in the half-marathon (21km). It was a usual Sunday morning when we all woke up specially for this day.

Everyone had been training for this event. Can't really recall how long or how far they had been training for the past few months. But for sure, each time these gang go for their run, I'm always there supporting them but in a subtle way. Anyway, that's not important.

Here they are for the run! Let's run for our passion!!!

The run started at 6:30am next to Esplanade and crossing magnificent landmarks. Covering routes from Singapore’s business district along Shenton Way to Robinson Road & Marina Bay. The turning point was Nicoll Highway before Golden Mile Complex. Then runners made their way back towards Esplanade Bridge after crossing Suntec City Mall before reaching Padang where the ending point was.

Though I did not participate but I can feel the passion & enthusiasm of the athletics. I have always wanted to participate on such events but think this was not the right time. Next year, I'm going for the run but neither the marathon nor half marathon. It is only 10km la ...
So what did I do during their run? Where was I?
Well ... the slacking me was found lazing around at Esplanade. I was "sleeping" and playing with my new Canon camera. Took a few familiar pictures.
