THAT SOMEONE SPECIAL

I remembered when I was a child, I hated reading except animated biblical story books. My passion for reading only grew when I was in secondary school. I guess that was a passing phase in my life. Now in my working life, I hardly read.

And now, my daily ritual is back on track. I'm starting to read again. I'm beginning to jot down words which I don't understand and would make a point to remember. I now understand the value in taking notes. It has helped me to solidify what I have learnt. Refresh what I had absorbed.

On days when I'm not reading, it makes me feel uneasy. My passion for reading has increased as I'm constantly in search of new words and meanings.

All thanks to this someone special, Mr Deon Lee who will always be my inspiration to everything.

And now, this slacker is back to her ritual.

Tell me, who has the luxury of time to sit in a forest and read her favourite book while the birds chirp, monkeys and squirrels chatter?

Not forgetting the cool breeze blowing against her face?
